Engr. Prof. Mohammed Baba Ndaliman, MNSE, MNIMechE, AMASME was born in Bida, Niger State, to the family of late Alhaji (Sheik) Muhammadu Ndaliman Ayyah, and Hajiya Fatimah Muhammad. He had his primary education at Ndayako Primary School, Bida, between 1972 and 1978. He proceeded to the famous Government College, Bida in October, 1978. In January 1981, he was transferred to Government Science College Kutigi among the pioneering science students sent there to complete his secondary education in June 1983. Prof. Ndaliman was one of the pioneering students of Federal University of Technology, Minna, established 1984, where he obtained B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering with Second Class (Hons) Upper-division in January 1990. He had his M. Eng in Mechanical Engineering with Production & Applied Mechanics Option in 1995. Between 2010 and 2013, he conducted a series of research leading to the award of PhD in Manufacturing Engineering at International Islamic University Malaysia. Dr Ndaliman started his carrier as a Pupil Engineer in Kankia Local Government Area of Katsina State in 1990 during his Youth Service Corps year. He worked briefly with the Cement Company of Northern Nigeria (CCNN) in 1991 as a Management Trainee Engineer. He later took up an appointment with the Federal University of Technology, Minna in April 1991 as a Lecturer. He rose from Assistant Lecturer to become Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering in October 2014. Prof. Ndaliman has taught general engineering and mechanical engineering courses, and also supervised many research projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Through these, he has trained over 10,000 students in the past twenty-five years. Prof. Ndaliman is the author of over fifty (50) research publications mainly in Referee-Indexed International Journals and Conferences. He serves in membership of the board of reviewers of many international research publishing outfits. He has held several responsibilities in his academic life including Acting Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering Department, the Federal University of Technology Minna at various periods. He was appointed as the Deputy Chairman, University Board of Research (UBR), Federal University of Technology, Minna in July 2014. When the Board was expanded to a directorate in January 2015, he became the Deputy Director. He was instrumental in the establishment of the Minna Chapter of The Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers in May 2014. He was invested as the First Chapter Chairman of the Institution in August 2015. In April 2015, his appointment as the Managing Director/Chief Executive, Scientific Equipment Development Institute (SEDI), Minna was approved by President Goodluck Jonathan. Prof. Ndaliman is a Registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a Corporate Member of both the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and that of Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE), Associate Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He is also a Certified National Trainer of CEFE Entrepreneurial Methodology. Prof. Ndaliman has received various awards and honours over the years including: • Nigerian Silver Jubilee Scholars Award for Undergraduates in Nigerian Universities – Sponsored by Iwuanyanwu Foundation – 1985. • Nigerian Breweries Limited (NBL) Prize for the Best Mechanical Engineering Graduate in 1998/89 Academic Session, F.U.T. Minna – 1990. • 4 Silver and 1 bronze Medals at Various Research Exhibitions in Malaysia between 2012 & 2013. • Enlisted in the pre-eminent directory of Marquis Who’s Who in the World, 31st Edition, 2014, page 1723. • Named among “Top 100 Engineers 2014” by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. • Named as the Best PhD Graduate in Engineering Award, International Islamic University Malaysia – 2014. • Named among “Top 100 Engineers 2015” by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. • Awarded the “Icon of Societal Transformation” by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in October 2015. Engr. Dr. Samuel Olugbenga Oloruntoba, OLUSUNLE was born in Zaria, Kaduna State; and hails from Isanlu in Kogi State. His educational Career, after primary school continued at Kufena College, Zaria where he obtained combined technical and secondary education. He has further academic qualifications of Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in Materials Science and Engineering, coupled with professional qualifications of being a registered Engineer, fellow, and member of several notable professional societies as well as being a professional manager. He also has teaching, research and administrative experience in tertiary institutions of learning (Kwara and Kogi State Polytechnic), where He rose to the rank of Acting Director of the School of Metallurgy and Mineral Resources Engineering of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja; He also was an adjunct Senior Lecturer with the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti. His area of specialization is Materials Science and Engineering with a special interest in, but not limited, to Structured Materials, and Metallic Alloy Development. He joined the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) in 2005 as Deputy Director in the Engineering Infrastructure department and also in the Director General’s office (as Special assistant). He has worked for NASENI for about sixteen years and has been part of the paradigm shift of the system in recent years which has brought NASENI to the limelight. His experience in teaching and research has enhanced his ability for publication as he has authored and co-authored over fifty articles in scholarly journals both within and outside Nigeria. Most of his journal publications revolve around Ceramics, Corrosion and Foundry Science and Engineering. He, as Special Assistant to Late Prof. Adewoye O.O. (DG/CE NASENI, 2003-2010) coordinated the following activities and projects for the Agency: i. Training Workshop on “Mechatronics and its Applications to Enhance Industrial Productivity” [held at the NASENI headquarters, Idu Industrial Area Abuja from 18th to 22nd June 2007] ii. Training on COMSOL Multiphysics (AC/DC, Acoustics, Chemical Engineering, Earth Science, Heat Transfer, MEMS, RF, and Structural Mechanics Modules) held at the NASENI headquarters, Idu Industrial Area Abuja from 28th to 30th May 2008 iii. Training on Computer-Aided Manufacturing using Pro/Engineer held at NASENI, Idu Industrial Area Abuja from 22nd to 26th July 2008 iv. Training Workshop on “Factory Automation” with Emphasis on Pneumatics and Electromechanical Automation held at the Prototype Engineering Development Institute Ilesa Osun State from 25th May to 5th June 2009] v. Establishment of Power Equipment and Electrical Machinery Development Institute (PEEMADI), Okene. vi. Establishment of Prototype Engineering Development Institute (PEDI), Ilesa vii. Establishment of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centre (AMT-C), Jalingo He was appointed the Acting Director of Engineering Materials Development Institute, EMDI, Akure on April 1st, 2012. The Institute made significant progress in its research areas such as in Nanotechnology, Organic Electronics, Light Emitting Devices, Solar Cell, Austempered Ductile Iron, Materials characterization, Advanced Foundry Technology and Laboratory development. There has been effective and prudent management of the institute’s scarce resources culminating in the acquisition of facilities/equipment that are not easy to find across the length and breadth of Nigeria such as the Gear Hobber and the Wear Resistance Measuring Machines. Notable among the products of the Institute under his watch are: 500kg recuperative rotary furnace, 1&2 KW propeller hydro-turbines, food processing machines, development and production of smart controls for rotary furnace and vertical machining center (VMC), production of salt-bath and muffle furnaces, etc. The Institute was able to produce a high-pressure pump for the National Water Resources Institute Kaduna; Production of Impeller for Ekiti State Water Corporation; Development of 5 units of Twin-Mould Interlocking Brick Making Machine for the Nigerian Building Research Institute (NBRRI) just to mention a few. Engr. Dr. Olusunle was also the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee of a Capacity Building Course: “Training on Diffusion of Turbine Technology for SHP Development in West Africa” from 26 – 30 November 2012 at EMDI Akure. He had earlier facilitated a similar workshop by the National Board for Technology Incubation which also took place and was hosted by EMDI. This is in addition to the ingenuity employed to save the institute huge overhead that is expended on alternative power supply by connecting the institute to the 33KVA power line thereby resulting in more productivity with the improved stability in power supply. There has equally been the strengthening of collaboration with more Institutions of higher learning and other stakeholders, notable among them are the Federal University of Technology, Akure; the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, the Nigeria Air Force and Centre for Satellite Technology Development. There was also significant success in the area of Reverse Engineering and Equipment Development. He was a member of the team put together by the EVC/CEO NASENI, Prof. M.M.S. Haruna, that successfully designed, developed, produced and installed Disinfecting Chambers at the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic. He is running his second tenure as the Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Engineering Materials Development Institute (EMDI), Akure, Ondo State. Engr. Dr. S.O.O. Olusunle is happily married and blessed with children.

Engr. Dr. I. O. Abdulmalik is from Eika in Okehi LGA of Kogi State, born on 10th May 1964. He joined NASENI in 1992 as Mechanical Engineer II and rose through the rank to be appointed Pioneer Project Manager of National Engineering Design Development Institute (NEDDI), Nnewi from 1999 to 2005. He was promoted Deputy Director (Technical Advisory Service) and Head of Planning & Policy Department of NASENI Headquarters from 2010 – 2012 before being appointed as Acting Director of Hydraulic Equipment Development Institute (HEDI), Kano. In 2015 he was appointed as substantive Managing Director of HEDI and reappointed in 2019. He obtained a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Manufacturing Technology from London South Bank University in 2010. He earlier obtained several qualifications such as Masters Degree (M.Eng) and Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka in 2005 & 2003 respectively. Abdulmalik obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) in Production–Mechanical Engineering from Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin in 1990 and also has National Diploma (ND) in Mechanical Engineering from The Federal Polytechnic Idah in 1997. He attended Government Technical College Pategi, Kwara State between 1998 – 1983 where he obtained City & Guild Part I & II and Labour Trade Test Part III & II all in Fabrication Engineering. While in NASENI, He attended several short-term professional development courses at Rexroth Bosch Group, Houston, Texas USA (2011); National Skills Academy for Manufacturing, Ford Motors Company, Dagenham – UK (2008 & 2009); SIRIM Berhad Sha’Alam, Malaysia (2005); Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) Hyderabad, India (1998). Engr. Dr I. O. Abdulmalik is an Inventor with Twelve (12) registered patent certifications in products and design. He has over 38 combined, both relevant engineering publications in revered international journals as well as conference papers to his credit. He is a member of several professional bodies such as The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), United Kingdom and COREN Registered Engineer. Dr Abdulmalik is a Fellow of the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering (FNATE) as well as a Fellow Nigerian Society of Engineering Technicians (FNISET) and Fellow – the Institute of Chartered Administrators and Researchers of Nigeria (CFIAR). Dr. Arinze Nwosu was born on the 14th December 1962 at Oraifite in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. Primary education was at Awor-Ifite Community Primary School Oraifite. He later proceeded to Government Technical College Enugu where he obtained City & Guilds in Electrical Installation course B and C. Having graduated from the college, he left for Abbot Boys’ Secondary School Ihiala in Anambra state where he obtained WAEC and GCE O- level in 1977. He was admitted into the University of Lagos to study Maths/ Physics but for his love for Engineering, he proceeded to Bauchi Polytechnic in Bauchi State where he obtained National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. He later proceeded to Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) to further his academic pursuit where he obtained his P.G.D and M.Eng, and finally left for Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (former Anambra state University) where he obtained his Ph.D. CAREER Started his professional career as a Technologist at Enugu State University in 1990 and rose to the level of Lecturer II and left for Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in 2005 also as a Lecturer II and later rose to senior lecturer. He was there until his appointment on June 1st, 2015 as the MD/CE of the National Engineering Design Development Institute (NEDDI). He is now on his second tenure in the office. Dr. Arinze Nwosu is a COREN Registered Engineer, Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) also member of IEEE of USA. He has written three textbooks in circulation namely.

Born on 8th August 1959, Engr. Dr. Bankole Adeoye Olunlade started his elementary education in 1965 and concluded the program in 1970. He had his West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1976, B.Sc (Ife) 1982, PGDip. (Nig.) 1987, MBA (UNAD) 2005, M.Eng (FUTA) 2006, and PhD (FUTA) 2012. Engr. Dr. Bankole Adeoye Olunlade has a Ph.D. in Production with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Expert Systems (2012). He is a Registered Engineer COREN (1996), a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (1992), and a Fellow of the Materials Society of Nigeria (2011). Engr. Dr. Bankole Adeoye Olunlade currently holds the post of Managing Director at the Prototype Engineering Development Institute (PEDI), Ilesa under the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure from January 2016 to date. Prior to this, he held twice a position of Acting Director/Chief Executive in charge of the Engineering Materials Development Institute (EMDI), Akure from July 2003 to October 2005 and July 2010 to March 2012. He has undertaken coordination of design, research, quality control, engineering result documentation, plant modification and alteration, training, foundry, heat treatment, and production planning activities from January 1990 to July 2010. Engr. Dr. Bankole Olunlade has good knowledge and professional competence in advanced manufacturing techniques, design, and development of machines, equipment, accessories, spares, and tools. He has to his credit the design of twenty-eight (28) machines and equipment and over 1500 designs of spare parts and tools. Other areas of his competence include the programming of various CNC machines using his proficiency in G-Code and Heidenhain languages from 1987-2010. Engr. Dr. Olunlade has also undertaken an appraisal study of Agro Plants for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in 1996, accreditation member work for the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) from 1994 to 1997, and team member of Curriculum Development for Technical and Vocational Education (TVE) for UNESCO in 2001. Engr. Dr. Bankole Adeoye Olunlade has presented many papers in conferences and has published papers in reputable journals. His research potential can be testified by the journal paper jointly published in February 2021 and which has attracted and made one of the top notched publishers to invite him to publish a book on related topic. In all, Dr. Olunlade has coordinated, controlled, and planned for resources as Chief Executive in two of the NASENI Institutes for over nine (9) years from July 2003 to October 2005, July 2010 to March 2012, and January 2016 to date.

Engr. David Dania is the Acting Director, Engineering Infrastructure, National Agency for Science & Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Nigeria (Federal Ministry of Science & Technology). He once acted as the acting Managing Director in National Engineering Design Development Institute (NEDDI), Nnewi. He is an Electrical & Electronics Engineer, Specialist in Automation, Mechatronics, Artificial intelligence (AI), and Renewable Energy. He has wide varied engineering experience. He is entrepreneurial, and multitasking and a team player. Educational qualifications: WASC, Government Secondary School, Pankshin, Plateau state. Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics), University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State. Masters of Engineering (Electronics and Communications Engr.), Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, Kaduna State. PhD (Electronics) in Waiting, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State. Engr David Dania is a recipient of CERTIFICATE OF MERIT AWARD in recognition of outstanding performance and exemplary conduct in the Agency, and also letters of commendations He developed the First Solar Panel Manufacturing plant in Nigeria, the 7.5 MW NASENI Solar Panel Manufacturing plant at Karshi Abuja, and produced the First made in Nigeria solar module. Also, he developed the First Made in Nigeria Motorcycle NASENI M1 at NEDDI, February, 2013, the First Made in Nigeria Tricycle ‘Keke NASENI’ May, 2014 (Cargo and Passenger Model). Others include: Design and fabrication of 10 Tons Integrated Cassava Processing plant, at Minna. Development of NASENI Electro Pneumatic Ventilator following the outbreak of COVID-19. Rehabilitation of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) machines: Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Rapid Prototyping Machine (RPM) at NEDDI Nnewi, and Vertical Milling Machine (VMC) 750 at NEDDI, and SEDI -Enugu. Establishment of the first IGR Unit, in June 2013 at NEDDI, remitted revenue generated from other sources to FGN in 2013 and 2014.

Engr. Yisah Yakubu Adajah, an Ebira by tribe from Okene Local Government Area in Kogi state where he attended his primary and secondary educations. He then proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and graduated with Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering in the year 1990. In the year 2015, he attended the Nile University of Nigeria for his Master degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Option) and is presently in the same institution pursuant of a doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in Power System Engineering. An External Examiner to Kogi State Polytechnic for 2020/21 academic session. His industrial experience of over a decade in Power Generation and Control at Thermal Power Plant/ Turbo Blower Station (TPP/TBS) of Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited made him stand tall among his equals before he joined PEEMADI, Okene in July 2005 to date. He has among other projects unilaterally designed 15KVA, 415/220V Step down transformer for powering CNC machines across the NASENI family. He participated in machine designs, installation, and software training programmes locally and internationally. Engr. Yisah Yakubu Adajah has participated in and coordinated many projects: UAV, SHP plant, Solar PV training modules, etc. He was among the team that handles the reverse engineering work of Palm Kernel Seed Oil Expeller at NASENI HQ. He is the chairman of PEEMADI’s Special Task Team on Project (STTP). Engr Yisah Y. Adajah is an Engineer/Administrator of high repute as one-time Head of Department Manufacturing Service, Research & Development departments of PEEMADI and presently the acting MD/CE of PEEMADI. He is a brilliant manager of both human and capital resources. He has some publications to his credit and letters of commendation. He is COREN registered and a member of NSE. He is happily married with Children.

Engr. Christopher Tanko John is currently the Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Programme (AMT-P), Jalingo, a Research Centre under the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), a parastatal under the Presidency, Abuja, Nigeria. He has efficiently and effectively managed the affairs of the Centre since his appointment in January 2020 till date. He started his career at NASENI Headquarters as a Principal Engineer in 2006. When the Centres of Excellence in Foundry Technology were to be established in Taraba State Polytechnic, Jalingo and the Federal Polytechnic Idah by ETF (now TETFund), with NASENI as the Consortium, the DG-NASENI, late Prof. O. O. Adewoye as the Lead Consultant, Engr. John was appointed the Desk Officer for the implementation of the project. An assignment he diligently conducted successfully. While on this assignment, AMT-P Jalingo was created in the year 2010, and the Centre of Excellence in Foundry Technology metamorphosed into the present AMT-P Jalingo through the approval of Taraba State Government, Engr. John was transferred to Jalingo to assist the pioneer Director/CE. He was immediately appointed the  Coordinator Engineering and Technical Services by the Pioneer Director/CE. Engr. John was retained on this post from the year 2010 as an Assistant Chief Engineer to the year 2019 as Deputy Director. His career in civil service started at the National Metallurgical Development Centre, Jos in 1991 as a Research Metallurgist and rose to Principal Metallurgical Engineer before he was handpicked and appointed Assistant General Manager (Production) at Makeri Smelting Company, Jos, in 2003. While in NMDC, Jos, gained mastery of the art of materials testing and non-ferrous metal extraction. He also served in various research committees such as the committee for local production of ferro-alloys, production of welding electrodes using local raw materials, investigation of the failure of parts for organisations including NNPC, Kaduna, Water Board, Jos, Grand Cereals, Oil Mills Ltd, Nigerian Railway Corporation, etc. He was appointed the Head of Extractive Metallurgy Division in NMDC, Jos, in the year 2000. The major reason for his rare appointment to Grade Level 14 in the management cadre in Makeri Smelting Company, Jos, in the year 2003 was to bring his wealth of knowledge to bear, towards resuscitating production activities in the moribund private outfit that was partly owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria. While in the company, he was appointed the Head of Extractive Metallurgy Division and pioneered a good number of projects including the development of a technology for local production of bismuth metal from its ores, production of secondary lead metal from battery fines and commenced work on the development of environmental-friendly technology for lead production from Nigeria Galena ore using crucible and rotary furnaces. Engr. John has successfully supervised more than twenty R & D projects, resulting in the development of many patented and commercialized machines that brought honour to AMT-P Jalingo in particular and NASENI at large in both Taraba State and at the National level in Abuja. Some of the machines patented include AMT-P Rice Threshing Machine, AMT-P Magami Multi-Grain Thresher, AMT-P 2.0JE Fish Dryer and AMT-P Fish Dryer. Having a great passion to support the quest of NASENI to execute the policy of FGN to stop the importation of rice, he has successfully executed the development of many rice value chain machinery such as rice dryer, paddy rice boiler/soaking tank, combine rice milling/dehusking machine, parboiled paddy rice dryer, rice de-stoner, rice husk furnace and many others. Being an active practising COREN registered Engineer and a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Nigerian Metallurgical Society (NMS), he rendered excellent professional service to NMS as the National Assistant Technical Secretary between 2002 and 2003 in the National Executive Council of the Society. He bagged a Master of Engineering Degree in Production Engineering from ATBU, Bauchi in 2011 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the prestigious ABU, Zaria in 1989. Engr. John graduated as the best final year student in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering, ABU, Zaria in 1989. This versatile engineering resource hails from Fadan Kaje in Zangon Kataf L.G.A. of Kaduna State. A lover of sports, especially badminton, he is happily married to Mrs Jane Christopher John and their marriage is blessed with children, Master Jephthah John, Ms Jada John and Master Jordan John.

Engineer Danjuma Adamu Ibrahim was born at Funtua, Katsina State on Friday, October 7th, 1960. He obtained both his National and Higher National Diploma (ND /HND) in Mining Engineering from Kaduna Polytechnic in 1983 and 1986, respectively. Then proceeded for the compulsory National Service NYSC, in Cross Rivers State. He also attended Government College Katsina and LGED Bukuru, Plateau State for his Secondary and Primary Schools Education from 1975 to 1980 and 1968 to 1975 accordingly. He has diverse experience cutting across the Mining Industry. He worked as a Student on Training at Bichi Janta Nig Ltg, Kuru Plateau State, (Alluvial Mining) A. G Navom Mining Company Ltd, Bukuru, (Tin and Columbite), Afri Concerns, (Gemstones), Mining Company Ltd, Kano, Nigerian Mining Corporation, (Granite Quarrying) and Fortrax Nigeria Limited (Gemstones), as Student on Training, Prospecting Right Holder (Prospector), Surveyor, Mill Supervisor, Section 36 Manager, Project Supervisor, Quarry supervisor, Quarry Manager, Project Facilitator, Managing Director. Etc. Engineer Danjuma in Registered with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN and Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientist, COMEG. He is also a member of the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering, NATE, Nigerian Society of Mining Engineers, NSME, Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society, NMGS, and Feceters Guild of Nigeria, FAGON of which he is the current National President of the later. He has also attended a Six Months World Bank Train the Trainer Program on Gemstones Cutting and Polishing organized by the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development. He is currently the Project Manager of Solid Minerals Machinery and Equipment Development Institute, SOMMEDI, Nasarawa, and Emerging Development Institute under the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructures, NASENI.
